More and more, compassionate people are confronted with the problem of homelessness, but are unsure of how to help. Handing over some change may provide some temporary relief, but too often only feeds a cycle of substance abuse or other destructive behavior. With your gift, you can know that your donation is being used to move
lives in a positive direction.
Last Year 560,000 Americans Were Homeless
CCC's Men's Housing Program offers housing, guidance and spiritual development to homeless men in St. Tammany Parish. The dormitory style housing provides a bed, dresser, and night stand for each resident in a socially distanced environment. Each resident has access to the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, communal bathroom, laundry facility, and living room area. Additionally, the adjacent community garden allows residents an outdoor area for fellowship and quiet contemplation.
Our program coordinator is available to assist each resident in finding employment and permanent housing. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate each resident's re-entry into mainstream society.
